How to start a blog to make money blogging online from home? In this article, I’m going to show you the easiest way to start blogging today. Here I have planned to divide the topic into two main sections.
One is how to start a blog and second is how to use the blog for making money from home.
How to start a blog:
To start a blog you need the below things:
- A Domain Name: Select a domain name on which you are going to start a blog. A domain costs you $10-$17 for registration for one year. You can register your domain from here at a cheap rate.
- A Hosting: A hosting is an online space in which all of the contents of your blog will be stored and when a visitor will visit your website, then the all the data/contents will present on the blog. There are lots of hosting providers you will see online; such as Hostgator, blue host, A2hosting and so on. But at the initial stage of blogging, you can save some money by hosting on CheapHost. Though it is a web hosting company in Bangladesh, all of the web hosting servers it manages are from USA and UK. It offers only $1.9/Y per SSD 1GB web hosting.
- A WordPress Theme: After registering a web host, you need to purchase a good looking blogging theme. You can purchase it from ThemeForest. On the other hand, you can take a complete package from a pro blogger to set up a theme for you. You may contact Muhibbullah to get a complete blog solution with free consulting you can cost only $250 (Service Includes: Domain, hosting, theme, plugins, logo, basic SEO & 30 days support).
- WordPress Plugins: There are some premium plugins that improve the results and can boost your earnings.

How do you think by blogging you can earn money? A few years ago I realized that bloggers are making money. In some cases, they were making more money. Many of them look like regular people like me. How exactly are they? Can I start a blog?

- All the time, keep in touch with others to keep your blog in mind.

How do bloggers make money?
Most successful bloggers use their blog as a hub or online home base, then there is a lot of income flows there. Your blog is used as a hub to control your message and to stay in a place where you can always find it important. These income streams include advertising, authorized sitting, selling digital or physical products or services. I will go in detail for each of the following. Bloggers directly earn money through their blogs and indirectly related opportunities.
How much do bloggers?
It varies widely. Some bloggers earn millions of dollars a year. Others, like me, earn a healthy full-time income. Make some less, and do not have any money at all. Although the blogger is curious about how to do it, how can I get the most exciting blogger? No amount is confirmed, and it is not easy, but there is virtually no limit. It is amazing how many bloggers earn earning creative. Blogging is one of the reasons for love to share information.
Solid numbers about blogging income are difficult to come. For example, in the US, the Bureau of Labor Statistics earns $ 6,240 per year in a wide range of bloggers. Since there are widely different jobs in that category do not have a precise measurement. Information from small surveys and literary evidence can be found online. But it is mostly taken from old or small samples.
A word about income report: –
Some bloggers publish income, though many have stopped doing so. When reading income reports, two things will be wise:
Understand the difference between total revenue and total income. Most revenues report total revenue out. Net returns or profits (what matters really) are often posted on posts. I recently came across an income report with a great impressive number of titles (and Pinterest images). It was in total revenue. I do not read the entire post until I spent more than half of the total income of this blogger on Facebook advertisements. Above him, they had a comprehensive list of costs. After the end of the post, I realized that last month they wanted more. The situation of each blogger is unique, so it is really difficult to draw general decisions. Since you do not pay too much to a blogger about making good money in a matter, you will not be able to reproduce their results. There are many variables and potential income streams involved in coordination. Your results may vary.
How long does it take to blogging?
Under “how to make money blogging”, it takes a lot of time each week to create and maintain a quality blog. Generally, it takes blogging a few months before earning income. I ask the new blogger to pay a reasonable part time income for at least 3-6 months of fees and ask to earn a full-income income for 1-2 years. Of course, there are exceptions, but after blogging has been active for almost 14 years in the world, this is a reasonable average. The idea is that you can start a blog today and earn full-time income within a few months; in most cases, it is not realistic. Just learn a lot and create more (your site, your content library, the presence of your social media, your loyalty, relationships with readers etc.).
If you need money directly, building a blog cannot be your best option. But do not be discouraged. I have entered blogging for years of blogging and it now brings a stable income. If you have some time, it is worth the effort.
What do the bloggers earn money (income stream)?
This is the flow of income. Each of the five possibilities has many possibilities:
- Advertising and sponsors content
- Affiliate Marketing
- Digital products
- Physical products
- Service
1. Advertising and sponsors content:-
Companies want to get their products in front of potential customers. Your readers may be interested in advertisements on your blog if they are an ideal customer. Here are ways to add ads to your blog:
- Display Advertising – Your Sidebar, Header, Footer or Your Content Graphics.
- Giveaways and reviews – The Company provides you free products and financial support for hope. You can highlight that product on your blog.
- Sponsors or underwriter post – Companies pay you to write posts by mentioning their products update.
- Newsletter / Video / Podcast Sponsorship – Advertisements on email or mini ads in video or podcast episodes.
Easy to start advertising, it creates a popular income stream for many bloggers. But it was almost never profitable and it really needs a lot of traffic to be profitable. Also, it risks your readers’ frustration, sometimes attacked on a site by advertising? And it shows your site as cheap and unreasonable. Therefore, this is not my top recommendation.
2. Affiliate marketing
As an approved department, you can promote the product or service of others to your readers. You can use your site link to the product or service that uses your unique affiliate link. When someone clicks on this link and makes a purchase then you will earn the commission.
There are thousands of approved programs to join. Some of my participation:-
- Amazon Associates – Make money when readers buy Amazon products through your links.
- WP Engine – Host I use to run my own site.
- Bluehost – Host I recommend new bloggers in this post.
- Amazon Impact Program – A different Amazon program that gives you your own Amazon store like mine.
- Ultimate Bundles – A company that sells bundles of digital products at a discounted price.
Affiliate Marketing is one of my favorite and most profitable revenue streams. You can highlight the product or services you use and love without having to create or maintain your own product. I will talk about affiliate marketing in more depth in the affiliate marketing segment.
3. Digital Products
Many bloggers are selling their own digital products. Digital products are great because their content is not needed and can be delivered quickly and easily. There is no overhead and low risk.
Digital product blogger for example:
- eCourses: Teach others what you know and sell it over again.
- Online classes or workshops – teaching, but a live setting.
- EBooks: Self-publishing is very profitable for a lot.
- Premium Content: Content must give access to others.
- Membership site: a mixture of teaching and community.
- Photos: Many photographers sell their photos online.
- Create music jingles, voice-over, or video clips: audio or video.
4. Physical product
Some bloggers sell physical products. Some examples:
- Books: Many bloggers have become legendary writers due to their blogs.
- Handmade Products: Are You A Creator?
- Produced products: many bloggers look for the manufacturer for their concept of reality.
- Retail arbitration: can you find great deals? Turn around and sell these sites like Amazon.
- Personal Conference, Class or Special Event: Some durable (money) exchange for individual personalized ticket tickets.
Bloggers’ waves have started selling physical products over the past few years. It can be profitable but can be complex with production, complexity, shipping, income etc. Some bloggers reduce the trouble of producing physical products through drop shipping or POD (demand print).
5. Service
Some bloggers use their blog related expertise and pay others for rental. Services can be given locally or practically.
Examples are here:-
- Speaking: many bloggers find Gigs talking about their blog platform.
- Virtual Assistance: A virtual assistant needs for many reasons
- Freelancing – Providing service to clients and resembling virtual assistants.
- Organized, decorating, and cooking: Some bloggers provide personalized service to their local readers.
Providing a service is a great way to make quick money because there is a low cost of startup. There is no listing and you already pay for the skills you have. Negative, it is not scale-able; which means you only have so much time, you can only earn as permitted by your time.
How can I start my own blog and earn money?
Once you start your blog, focus on creating a strong library of at least 10-20 blog posts. Make sure they are helpful and meaty. Remember, your goal is to go with your content. In other words, make your content better than anyone else on the content. Later on, find out which streams flow the natural extensions of your posts. Apply them one by one until you do the best for you. In the meantime, Facebook groups and your potential readers hang out where relationships in social media have to be developed. Do not just promote your own stuff, be a helpful part of the conversation. People will finally check out what you have to offer.
Can I start a blog for free and still earn money?
Yes, However, I will be careful against it. Why? When you use a free service, the more control you have on your blog. The free service does. It can be risky, especially if you rely on your blog for income. A self-hosted WordPress blog can be recommended and started very cheaply.
5 additional tips to make money blogging:-
- Use as many incomes flow as you can reasonably handle.
- Excellent content is the key to long-term success.
- Each blogger has a different combination of revenue streams. There is no “right” way and its beauty. There are endless possibilities. Find a combination that works for you
- Another blogger is not a clone. Find a unique angle.
Successful bloggers do not start a blog to earn money. Instead, they have a blog about an issue that they really enjoy and could write for years. They let the money grow organically.
